Caravanserais and the Latin district of Pera

This unusual visit makes you discover the old caravanserais transformed into workshops, around the Grand Bazaar, which are divided by sectors and ethnical groups who are specialized in different handicrafts, these caravanserais which are not known enough show the socio-economic role of these masters at the time of the Ottoman Empire.

After a traditional meal in a typical Stambouliote  restaurant, continue the visit in Pera the Latin district of the city which is interesting for its particular architecture of XIXth century, then the market of Galatasaray, and the Eastern churches.
