The Dolmabahçe Palace

The Dolmabahçe palace illustrates good enough the mind of the imperial family in the half of the XIVth  century.
The palace was built by the order of Abdül Mecit I and was used as imperial residence of the Ottoman sultans for almost all the period of their kingdom. The architects of this palace were Gabaret and Nikogos Balyan.

The immense palace with 285 rooms has a very high central part within the throne  and the main stairs which has the slopes made of Baccarat crystal.

The majority of the rooms are equipped with the original furniture of their period.

Dolmabahçe is one of the most beautiful palace in Istanbul
