The Imperial mosques

This
program makes you discover the principals of the Ottoman religious architecture, and to
follow the evolution of its style from XVIth to the XVIIth century. The eight principal
mosques of the city are visited during the day: mosque of Soliman the Magnificent, Blue
mosque, Sokullu Mehmet Pasha, mosque of Prince Mehmet, mosque of the Sultana-Mother,
Rüstem Pasha, Yavuz Selim and the mosque of Mehmet the Conqueror.
Lunch is in
a typical restaurant with a menu of
Stambouliote specialties. |
